Gill-Man

Gill-Man is a mystery to everyone, including himself. He is able to breathe surface air for only a few minutes before having to return to a watery habitat, webbing is spread between each finger and claw, he has fish type scales for skin, but he is able to walk upright on land as a man would. He is part fish, part man but doesn’t belong in either of their worlds. Lonely, but otherwise happy, Gill-Man lives in his Black Lagoon primarily in the dark depths of the sea.

When a group of scientists showed up to his lagoon he tried to get them to go away. Then he saw Kay, and he instantly fell in love with her. He tried to get Kay to go with him, to be with him, but she rejected him. Her fiancee and the scientists drove him away.

He had to give up on his love for Kay. The group left and the Gill-man was once again alone in his Black Lagoon.
