Vivita
She came all the way from war plagued Baghdad, where she was a model/actress to be in the North American Film Industry. In the beginning she felt like a fish-out-of water in North America(as it’s been pointed out many times that she has a thick, sultry accent; which some say sounds like Sophia Loren’s or Salma Hayek ).

Also being the old-fashioned ‘buxom’ type (Vivita loves to eat a lot); regular & industry casting people looked at her as the curious, exotic immigrant and not the model-thin Anglo-pixies that plague Hollywood today. This meant she was ‘limited’ in her role choices.
That being said, Vivita decided to be independent, by creating her own style/fashion sense, studying English , then screen-writing & film /television production; to make it on her own.

Soon, she helped to produce “Twisted Sinema Presents..It Came From The Video-Store” a local Toronto Independent Filmmaker showcase; as well as T. V. infomercial’s with T. V./Film Producer:Tony Watt. She has co-produced/co-directed (and appeared in) Tony Watt’s Frankenpimp (2009); as well as the bad-girl sci-fi/horror thriller Vixen Highway 2006: It Came From Uranus (2010) & the slasher movie Acid Head (2011):
as the main character.
She is working on a few other horror/thriller/fantasy culture-type movies; which are kind of top-secret until 2011. Vivita is also writing her dream movie based on Iraq culture; and she is enjoying THAT one.
Vivita recently started her own company Slum Goddess Inc.
She is currently working on Violet is Blue (2014) it’s the retro-’70s style bad-girl revenge-thriller tale of a drug addicted war veteran, Violet Espinoza, whose life consists of getting high and carrying out armed robberies with a motley gang of losers. After Violet does a stint in jail, she learns that her former gang killed her parents for extra drug money. Violet, angered by the police’s non-activity,takes it upon herself to track down her former gang and avenge her parents’ murder one-by-one, in a variety of devious ways; in this dark and twisted romp through suburbia.

“I love horror because it’s keeps my mind away from the anger, desolation & repression I have been experiencing or seeing in modern society…The genre also releases my repressed inner Id.”
