Kristian Emmanuel Boruff was born in Bitburg, Germany about 500 feet from the Bitburger Pilz Brewery. After a lot of moving around he grew up in Indiana. He's now a 28 year old senior film student at the Colorado Film School. He plans on relocating to Los Angeles or New Mexico after graduation.
He has made a number of short experimental and horror-comedy films. One exception is "Invasion of the Puzzle People" which is a documentary about his true life experiences being stalked online due to the unexpected popularity of his web site, "www.thisisnotporn.com. (Now at stoveinafield.com).
The film has had over 8500 views on Youtube.

His favorite horror film is Audition by Takashi Miike. Other favorites include "The Descent", "Dog Soldiers", "Dead Alive", and "Prince of Darkness". Favorite authors are Harlan Ellison, Haruki Murakami, and Oscar Wilde, and books are "A Wild Sheep Chase", "Frankenstein", and "The Picture of Dorian Grey".
Current works include an unnamed short comedy about a man traveling through a Nuclear winter to be with his girlfriend, and is also writing a feature length screenplay about a Traveling Salesman in the 1940's whose body is invaded by a creature that forces him to kill women along his route.
